Hey everyone, hope you have recovered from Thanksgiving!!! Cause guess what???? It’s almost Christmas!! I know we all love Christmas..Of course as a kid you love it more. All the mystery of it and the suprises!!Well, this year is extra special to me…This year we will celebrate Christmas and New Years in our new gym!!!! I speak for my family and our youth group when I say how grateful we are to Bro. Brandon and all he has done for us..This dream would have died had it not been for a preacher who believed that God sometimes expects you to step out on His faith, and that is what we have done. We have all our faith in God and as long as we keep doing His work, we’ll be ok. Thank you Bro. Brandon for believing in our youth and in me and Ken. For always giving us that extra push to go beyond ordinary. Without you doing what God asked of you, many souls would still be headed for hell. We love you and thank you. We would also like to thank your family for all their sacrifices they’ve had to make along the way…I cannot imagine what it’s like to be a preachers wife or daughter, but I’ve always been told it’s not easy. But you have a wonderful family who supports you and we are so lucky to have them be a part of this dream with us.
Ok well enough with the sentimental stuff!! We are sooo pumped to stay in the gym not only this coming Saturday night (just because we want to) but we will also be staying the night in the gym New Years Night. Everyone is invited to our New Years Eve Bash at the gym…starts at 7:30. All friends and family are invited to come. We’ll be playing basketball, volleyball, pool table for teens and adults and also a small pool table for younger kids.(which Noah beats me at every time) We also have a foosball table, air hockey and of course everyone’s favorite: BOXING!! We have sooo much fun at the gym…everybody has such a great time. We hope to see you there.
I also want to encourage all the youth and their family to make sure they visit us on Wed nights. If you’ve never been to our Wed night classes, you’re really missing out. Ken, my wonderful husband-if I do say so myself, does a bible study with some of the kids..good learning time. My class, well, lets just say we love pie!!! That’s an inside joke. You had to be at church last Wed night to know what I’m talking about. But why don’t you ask someone!! In my class, we have a bible study, have discussion, usually play a bible game and just have a great time. Maybe you’ll come visit us!!
In closing I would like to again thank our youth for putting up with me and Ken. I hope you guys know how much we love ya’ll!! We are sooo proud of ya’ll…and don’t give up, God isn’t finished with you!! Parents, special thanks to you for allowing your children to be a part of our church and youth group!
